I am thrilled to join Out of the Woods CIC as the new administrator. My background blends 15 years in the television industry as a production manager and line producer—including a wonderful period creating children’s television—with recent hands-on experience as a supply teaching assistant in our local schools.
As a mother myself, I know how deeply parents care about their children's well-being, and I understand the steep financial barriers families face when trying to access the right support. Working in classrooms showed me firsthand just how vital external therapeutic services are for young people today.
To deepen my commitment to mental health, I am starting a Level 5 Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling at Camborne College this September. I am incredibly proud to use my combined organizational skills and passion for youth well-being to support this fantastic organisation. I truly believe that life-changing therapy should be accessible to every single child across Cornwall.
